Dark nights need warm and cosy interiors...

With the evenings drawing in earlier and the days becoming darker, it is the perfect time to introduce our new Autumn/ Winter collection for 2017. Here are  just a few of our new treats that you will be able to find in store now, along with some ideas on ways to help you make the most of those cosy evenings at home with family and friends in the run up to the festive season.

Cushions and Throws

Adding extra cushions to your sofas instantly makes them more inviting and extra cosy, but why stop there? Throws will not only help to aesthetically change the appearance of your sofa or room, but they are the perfect way to keep you nice and toasty on a chilly winters evening.

Candles and tea lights

Candles are a simple way to create a warm and cosy ambience during the winter months. Tea lights can dress any nook or cranny while scented candles will instantly warm a room and fill it with inviting scents to please your senses. At this time of year we recommend scents that are subtly fruity with hints of spices. Our most popular Country Candle fragrances at this time of year are:

Fig and cassis – a delightful green leaf mixture with fruity accords of cassis, strawberry and grapes; floral undertones with notes of lily and jasmine combined with juicy figs lead to a woody trail of amber and cedar.

Baked Apple- tantalisingly delicious, what more can we say? Imagine gently simmering orchard apples, softening in a buttery pan with the spiciness of ginger, nutmeg and cloves. Warm vanilla caramel tones create the tartness of the apple, a truly mouth-watering experience!

Sparkling Spice-  the epitome of Christmas in a tin! A combination of seasonal spices, this candle is a true winter warmer!

From opulent colours and classic glassware to far bolder, statement shapes and patterns, we have vases to suit all homes. Diverse in usage, either a statement on its own or filled with flowers to continually change the look of the vase, there is a vase for almost any space. At this time of year we recommend an everlasting bouquet. This could either be a collection of foraged Autumn twigs and leaves reflecting the changing season or a few stems of our sumptuous silk flowers - a classic way to keep your home looking fresh, without the need for maintenance and replenishment.

With Jack Frosts presence becoming ever closer, it is time to start layering up and what better way than with a scarf?! Not only will a scarf keep you nice and toasty, but  you can layer up, layer down, spice up an outfit or carry it around in your handbag; the scarf has a multitude of different purposes and not only do they make the perfect gift for friends and family, but they are the ideal treat for yourself too!
