British blooms, Mediterranean garlands and THAT chandelier...our Summer really has had it all!

Goodbye June, July, August and the balmy summer weather, hello September and the start of the crisp Autumnal days. The changing of the seasons is beginning and we will start to see our favourite summer flowers disappear and the richly textured and sumptuously coloured Autumnal blooms come through. It is our favourite time of year!

Here is a roundup of just a few of the stunning weddings that we have been involved in across Sussex and further afield...

Rebecca and Neil

 19th May 2017

South Lodge Hotel

A classic wired teardrop bouquet, included several early summer favourites like peonies, astilbe and delicate jasmine trails amongst roses, bouvardia and lisianthus to create a cascade of blush tones.

Maria and Ben, 26thMay 2017 - Upwaltham Barns, Chichester

Blush and sorbet blooms adorned the beautiful Upwaltham Barns for Maria and Ben’s elegant summer wedding. With foliage chandeliers and rose garlands decorating the main barn, a classic, country ambience flowed through this wedding.

Alice and Chris

8th July 2017 - Sotterley Hall, Norfolk

Alice requested English garden roses with an abundance of scents. Using favourites such as David Austin’s Kier, Margaret Merrill, Cream Piaget and Irish Hope all of which were complimented by British grown oregano, sage, silver lavender and cat mint, the bouquet had all the elements of a classic English country garden.

Nicola and Dan 29th July 2017

The Walled Garden, Cowdray Estate, Midhurst

A wedding with a difference… 97ft of Mediterranean garlands kind of difference! Lemons, limes and olive created an absolutely spectacular look at the picturesque Walled Gardens on the beautiful Cowdray Estate.

Cheryl and Rob 3rd August 2017

Amberley Castle, Sussex

A classic combination of blush and ivories created a quintessentially British country garden ambience for Cheryl and Rob’s wedding. Marrying at the enchanting Amberley Castle amidst scenic gardens, sumptuous hydrangeas, delicate trailing foliage and beautiful blush pinks creating the perfect combination.

Polly and Jack

18th August 2017 - Brookfield Barn, Horsham

Marrying at the recently refurbished Brookfield Barn, Polly and Jack’s wedding really had it all… opulent, neutral tones; classic avalanche roses; dainty spray roses; luscious hydrangeas; that chandelier… Yes, that chandelier!! All together created a timeless setting for a truly wonderful day.

Imogen and James, 26th August 2017

Northbrook Park, Farnham

Decadent shades of dusty lilacs adorned the great halls of Northbrook Park. Imogen and James chose an elegant combination of roses, hydrangea and scabious seed pods for their big day. The style was very much to focus on the blooms; using a compact, dense structure with minimal foliage we were able to achieve this look… Elegance personified!

We wish each and every single one of our couples many happy years to come and very much are looking forward to all of the delights we have coming up over the upcoming Autumnal months.
